Marc noticed these weird cat-sculptures the other day as he was coming out of a multi-story carpark located in the Byward Market. He took a picture with his phone to show me, and of course I was intrigued and wanted to see for myself so we went back last weekend (going back with the camera to take more photos to post on the blog was also a great excuse for a walk in the market and a stop on a patio for a pint!).
After Marc showed me the sculptures he had noticed while driving we kept discovering more and more cats! Sadly we ignore who created them and put them there as we could not find any mention of it being some sort of art project. They look like they are made of papier maché or some similar material but we didn’t really want to touch them to find out because, well… it’s not the cleanest carpark ever.
